Scan & List files from "theme/MyTheme/Layout/" folder!

hi all, I need a way to scan the current theme folder for files with the following filename "pattern" : Gallery-NameHere.ss , then list all available files in a dropdown . Whats the best way to to this ?
The idea is to have like Gallery-JQueryPluginName.ss & you will have an option to select which one you need from the admin area.
