Tags : How to get them working on SS3 ?

Hi:
i am looking for a way to add tags to my Gallery image , it should work something like this:
- each image has many tags
- Get data objects by tag , I think I should use the filter() ?
- Its something close to how tags worked on the Blog Module in SS2.4 , but I could not get it working hereAny Ideas?
