Silverstripe 3.x CMS not working with Google's Mod Pagespeed

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows a way to make the 3.x cms work on a server that has google's mod-pagespeed installed. When setup it all the ajax calls fail in the cms. Front end works perfect though for my site. I was able to hack it to work and posted a solution at http://www.silverstripe.org/general-questions/show/18012 but would like to know if anyone has any better ideas on this.
