Is SilverStripe good for my project?

Hi,

So i'm new to SS3 and i want to clarify some concerns.
I nead a multilingual site and afaik SS dont support multilaguage out of the box and i can't find a good solution for this.
I nead news site. So i want some good news management for 3k news i already have. And i don't find any info oubout how SS3 can handle so much objects in admin pages. I wuld expect somethin similar to Articles in MODX but cant find any.

Work on translatable in 3.0 is an ongoing piece of work, You can find the module at https://github.com/silverstripe/silverstripe-translatable. For dealing with thousands of items you may want to consider ModelAdmin and using DataObjects as pages (http://www.ssbits.com/tutorials/2010/dataobjects-as-pages-part-1-keeping-it-simple/)
