Is SilverStripe good for my project?

Hi,
So i'm new to SS3 and i want to clarify some concerns.
I nead a multilingual site and afaik SS dont support multilaguage out of the box and i can't find a good solution for this.
I nead news site. So i want some good news management for 3k news i already have. And i don't find any info oubout how SS3 can handle so much objects in admin pages. I wuld expect somethin similar to Articles in MODX but cant find any.Thank you for your help.

Work on translatable in 3.0 is an ongoing piece of work, You can find the module at https://github.com/silverstripe/silverstripe-translatable. For dealing with thousands of items you may want to consider ModelAdmin and using DataObjects as pages (http://www.ssbits.com/tutorials/2010/dataobjects-as-pages-part-1-keeping-it-simple/)
