Search for image from ImageField in CMS?

Hi All ,
Is it any way doable - when using the ImageField in CMS on 2.4 implement a search field (similar to the one which comes on right side of IMage insertion from TinyMCE). So that instead of selecting image , admin could search and see the thumbnail list ?
