duplicate pages in ss3

Hi,
Does anybody know why the "duplicate page" function (contextual menu in 2.4) is deprecated in Silverstripe 3.
Or does anybody has a workaround to duplicate a page and its content (and grid, metadata etc)Thanks,

same question here: http://www.silverstripe.org/general-questions/show/21766
searched through the source code, there still is SiteTree::duplicate(), no mentions of this feature being deprecated, it's just missing in the context menu? -

HI,
This issue is covered by the fhe following ticket in the bug tracker: http://open.silverstripe.org/ticket/7602.
I've just added it to the 3.1.0beta2 milestone (which is closing today) so hopefully we'll get it back into 3.1rc1.
