Emails not Sending

1 July 2009 at 5:03pm
Hi,
I'm trying to get the silverstripe mail function working but it will not work live!! I'm on a live webserver - the issue at the moment is only with the forgot password page because I dont need to send emails anywhere else... but the request password email is not sending!! The server is running Linux PHP 5 so it isn't to do with the mail() function! I really need this to work to as the client hopes to have a LOT of users on the site and the odds of them having to use a forgotten password email form are high!
Everything is working as it should... the Security/lostpassword page comes up when you click I've forgotten my passsword... you type in your email... click submit and the Security/passwordsent page comes up with the submitted email address but no email ever comes through...
Any suggestions as to what this issue maybe... is there something else to do with the SMTP or the Web server mail systems that I need to look into???
Please let me know what you think!! Im getting desperate!
