closing open html tags due to LimitCharacters

5 July 2009 at 6:05am
Hi:
Can anyone shed some light on how to make sure an opening tag (i.e. paragraph) gets closed properly when the text is truncated using LimitCharacter.
i am pulling in the first 20 characters from my latest blog entry, but silverstripe is including the p tag but because it is truncated i am getting a parsing error that there is no closing tag.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
