HTML code starts with php tag Link to this post

I'm seeing a weird bug/error in the HTML Silverstripe outputs. For some reason the HTML output for every page starts with "<?php". It doesn't seem to be related to any of my templates - even a completely empty template, with no markup whatsoever, will output "<?php" at the beginning of the document. Has anyone seen this problem before? Is it related to Silverstripe or to PHP in general?
