Is SilverStripe right for me?

18 December 2008 at 11:18pm Last edited: 18 December 2008 11:26pm
A client has approached me wanting to have a CMS for a new site.
They need to add news(accept comments) - with thumbnail image generated, add/edit page content, add events, add bar opening times, bar menus, a Gallery and also want to bolt-on some existing PHP app that I have built on another site.
Can SS do all this? I know the latter is a big ask. Thanks for any help with this.
And finally, what is the best way to test it? Just practice with it, I guess?

I would ask you to look at a website I am working on.

I think this will answer all your questions.
