2.3.0-rc3 image editing / copping?

hi,
does someone know howto edit or crop images in rc3? Is this feature gone or perhaps outsouced to a new module?

If you're talking about the old Flash-based image editor, I'm not sure what became of that. Seemed like it was around for one version and then disappeared.
If you're talking about formatting images on the template, that's still there and robust as ever!

Oh, thats bad because i loved this editor and my clients too... Why has this cool feature been removed? I ve worked with this in every build before including the actual 2.2.3 ... so it wasnt a temporary thing. Any idea how to integrate this in the new release?
edit: i do not have an installation of rc2 but i think the editor was still there in that build...

One of the reasons I decided to further explore SilverStripe was the image editing features, shown in the 'video overview for content editors' on silverstripe.org. Only after installing v2.3.0 the 'Edit image' button is nowhere to be found. It appears that this version of SS does not support image editting anymore?!
Could anyone tell me if this is true.

The strange thing is: today i got the german silverstripe book - great. Seems to be a very good book! Thanks for that!
Because i am at work i just read the headlines .. on page 122 the SilverStripe Image editor is mentioned as it is not missing in the actual build.
Perhaps it is a bug within the images popup window? When changing my users password I am not able to click on save because there is no button. I just have to scoll down with the arrow keys to get the Save button on the bottom of the html page.
So I think the image editor should be there...

It is not currently working in 2.3. See http://open.silverstripe.com/ticket/3190 for a discussion on the point
