pagination:number of page error

hi!
I read here about pagination http://doc.silverstripe.org/doku.php?id=private:recipes:pagination&s=change%20page
I work with page.ss and here I print data from an external database. I need print the first 10 in the first page, the next 10 in the second page and so on. My problem is that all the result (25)are visualize in the same page and the number of total page are exactly 25 as the number of query result
