Debugging SilverStripe with Netbeans and Eclipse

Hi,
I would like to debug a SilverStripe installation on windows xampp with Netbeans 6.5 or Eclipse (PDT 2.0, Eclipse 3.4.1) but I wasn't able to create a working project including SilverStripe's source, Sapphire and my own source.
Thus, if anybody can give me a hint how to create a project from an existing SilverStripe installation you would help me a lot. Maybe, there is even a howto around on either IDE how to handle and debug MVC projects.

any suggestion for this post guys? i also wanted to debug silverstripe code using netbeans any tips? thanks in advance

netbeans has a full tutorial on debugging php. it's pretty powerful too. you need to install xdebug
