    i18n not working Link to this post

    hi

    i'm using ss 2.3.1 and wanted to turn on i18n.

    in my _config.php i added:
    i18n::enable();

    after /db/build?flush=1 i saw the translation tab in the cms, but after selected the language (german) and trying to create i got a server error.

    the error was only shown in the cms. see attached image

    Hi

    i18n is broken in SilverStripe 2.3.0 and 2.3.1. It should be fixed in 2.3.2.

    There are workarounds though:

    or just use SilverStripe 2.2.x

    Broken, yes, but Translatable is broken, and not i18n. i18n seems to work fine in 2.3.1, at least for me, see my i18n posts about in the thread you're referring to for an alternative solution to the broken Translatable.
