Permission problem

I've created a group, gave 'Site Content', 'Files & Images', and 'Comments' permissions to it, and finally added a new user to the newly created group.
The user logged in, created a new page, then clicked 'Save' (not 'Save and Publish'), now this user doesn't have permission to go back to that page and edit it. What did I do wrong?

I can't think of anything.
Does the user get an error when they try to click on the page or is it just not there anymore?

From memory, the error said something like "You have no permission to access the requested page, if you have another account that has permission, please log in using that account instead."
