Hey guys, I just noticed that in the File and ImageField that the TreeDropdownField does not work for "From the file store." This appears to be a problem only with IE8. We would just use another browser, but unfortunately the site in question must employ IE8.

This also happens exactly the same on demo.silverstripe.com. Any help anyone could give would be appreciated. It appears to be a javascript issue, and the very vague error description from IE8 is this:

Looks like this has been fixed in 2.4, but it still might appear in 2.3 - am I correct in assuming you're using 2.3?

Hi Sean

Thanks or your reply, Yes we are on 2.3.1

Is the upgrade a big one and does it have any other problems tghat will arise that we need to know about

I guess I will have to get our ISP to upgrade as I think that is beyond me

regards
Mike
