folderName parameter not working for ImageField

Hi,
I noticed that using the folderName parameter for an ImageField doesn't seem to have any effect. The image is still uploaded to the Uploads folder. Seems to have been mentioned before as a fixed bug, but I am using the latest core. Can someone let me know the status of this? Is it now possible to upload into a different folder. If I have lots of uploads potentially, I dont want them all going into the same folder.

Hi, i have just update one project to 2.3.4 because there were too many images in the uploadfolder and the backend stopped working. I think this is a really important issue. There is no forum entry solving this. Has anybody solved this yet?
