Hi, this is probably for the Core Devs:

Are there any plans to revise the documentation for Silverstripe, or is there a project underway already?

I think one of the biggest stumbling points for new users is the documentation - it's great to have such an interlinked wiki, but some times it's a bit impenetrable and hard to work out what's relevant.

I'm not a good enough PHP developer to contribute to the core, so I'd love to donate some of my time to help get the docs in a bit more of a friendly state!

Cheers

Yes we have a project to completely rebuild the doc wiki (both the wiki software and the content) but this is currently on the backburner. If you wish to help out on documentation feel free to contribute by updating the current wiki as this new wiki is on ice for the foreseeable future.
