Get error when accessing Image icon in CMS editor

When I click on the image icon in the CMS editor on a particular page where I want to insert some images I get the following error message.
Windows Internet Explorer
Object doesn't support this property or method
This occurs only on my hosted web site. On my local development environment there is no problem and this feature works fine.
Can anybody help??
