Can create a real administration ?

29 August 2009 at 2:44am
Hi you guys,
I'm a beginners in SilverStripe, and , I have a big question
What can I do to create an administration side, of a website make with silverstripe. I have 2 possibilities :
- Give an access to the CMS at my customers ?. I know I can access only some part. It's not too complex to use for us ?
- Create my own administration (like a website), but only for changing the content of the pages, with log/pass.
An another possibility ?
Regards,
Fabrice -

Hello fabrice,
the blog module has frontend administration. Look at that code and you will find some answers.

Why not just give your client only access to for instance the sitetree and the files and images tab?
You could limit some access to certain pages or datamodels, if you would like too, when needed..

Hi,
I think this is not suffisant. I need to give a "real" administration area, flexible and personalized, for each customers...
