WYSIWYG not loading after ajax save

I think this is a question born of my ignorance, but in any case I don't have an answer. I have several custom dataobjects in the site I'm working on. I'm using the fabulous modeladmin to manage them, but here's the pickle. Some of the fields use the WYSIWYG editor. After I save an object and the editor reloads, the WYSIWYG is missing. It seems to be javascript related, but I wondered if anyone knows exactly what the issue is? Thanks for any help.

Have you tried running this under Firebug and watching the Net tab? Is anything failing, particularly under the XHR subtab?

No failures. I think this is the same issue as explained here -- http://www.silverstripe.org/data-model-questions/show/252763#post252763
There is a bug filed related to it (http://open.silverstripe.com/ticket/3428) but no perfect solution has been presented yet that I can find.
