Re: Feedback - why I did not continue SliverStripe

I think a lot of those people would appreciate that time slot being dedicated to the forums, rather than IRC.
Agreed.

I believe the Dev's spend a couple of hours, at a predefined time slot answering questions on IRC. My only issue with that is that they are on NZ time I am on UK time and a lot of other people are in non NZ time zones. I think a lot of those people would appreciate that time slot being dedicated to the forums, rather than IRC.
The dedicated time (which is 9am Fridays NZDT) isn't really a single dedicated time any more, you are just as likely to find 2 or 3 core devs on the IRC channel at any one time (if you come on at 2am NZDT you might not be so lucky).

Just thought I would open this thread back up again. This discussion got me thinking about the lack of Menu builder functionality, so over christmas I put together a rough idea of how this might work as a module.
Its pretty simple at the moment, but I have used it on a couple of projects and it seems to be holding up quite well.
I started a forum thread here: http://silverstripe.org/all-other-modules/show/279615
Hopefully it will prove of use to some people
