What happens if my MySQL version isnt 5.0+? My host (Media Temple) is running version 4.1.5. Is it the end of the world if i dont upgrade? Silverstripe is recommeding 5.0 or above.

I've seen this thread here: http://www.silverstripe.org/archive/show/2166 its pretty old now so wondering if the answer would have changed?

Thanks,
Cano

It *may* work on MySQL 4.1, but it has not been tested so there's no guarantees.
