Recommendations for web hosting in the UK??

I'm new to SS - building my non commercial site on localhost but want to share it with others. I want a web hosting service that is good with SS but cheap

I have contacted a couple of web hosting providers enquring whether they meet the SS system requirements (see below) but they have not responded which tells me something about their customer relations.

System Requirments: ://www.silverstripe.org/system-requirements/ and I am told that the the really critical ones are PHP 5.2.0+ with Safe mode off and Apache with mod_rewrite and "AllowOverride All" set)
