Inline Help [v0.0.1]

Maintainer(s): ajshort
Supported by: Community

Embeds configurable inline help tooltips/links next to elements on pages.

This module allows you to embed inline help links or tooltips beside elements on a page. This is especially useful for things like complex forms, or to display extra information to the user. Each tooltip is managed via the CMS, and is highly configurable.

Help objects are inserted into the page via a jQuery/CSS selector. This means that each element can be embedded next to several elements. Additionally elements loaded via AJAX also have help objects added. Each help item can also be attached to several pages; either all pages, specific pages, children of a page, or all instances of a page type.

A help object is displayed by default as a small button with a question mark icon, although this is configurable via the CMS. A help item can either be a tooltip which opens on hover or click, or a link out to an external help page.

There is also several advanced options available, such as offsets, positioning and tooltip size.
