Installed 2.4 rc1 on a host who has rather tight security and the installation does not go past 'Building database schema...'
As far as I can see all the tables are there (35 tables, last one 'Widgetarea') but there is just nothing in them (apart from siteconfig) and therefor I get white pages or the message "The requested page couldn't be found" when accessing the site

Tried doing a dev/build but it does not go further than "Creating database records # Group" and then nothing.

The server should have 36 mb of php memory and is running php 5.2.6 (a debian install). Tried a phpinfo() but that also returns a blank page (giving an echo 'bla' returns the desired result though)

Sounds like a security or server problem to me, but maybe anyone else here has seen this before and has maybe something useful to say about it? It is 18:00 hours here and everybody has gone home, so I have to wait 15 hours until I can call support again and I want to be prepared
