I uploaded a PDF file to the assets/uploads folder. I want to link the PDF file for download trhu my admin wysiwyg. All jpeg, gif and png files show in the drop down menu but the PDF files that I uploaded do not show.

I made a manual link in the HTML editor and the download works fine in the front end but I would like to get this issue fixed.

I tried with other extension files like xls but they do not show either.

I changed permission of the assets and uploads folders to 777 but I sill have the same problem.

Any help will be appreciated. I looks like a minor fix but I don't know whats going on.

Thank you,

Interesting to see that if I upload files to the uploads folder via FTP then you need to update the folder via the admin with the "Look for new Files" button in order to see the new files displayed in the wysiwyg drop down. I am relieved to know this is not a bug.
