prefix mysite shown in url

Hi,
i have worked on a silverstripe website and deployed it on one of our costumers server. now i got a problem. in the url the prefix "mysite" is shown (defined in _config.php -> $project = 'mysite'). so images are not shown and i can't login to the cms. because its 1:1 the source from my test server i can't find a solution, because i didn't use the ss_enviroment feature.
can anyone help me here? thx alot
