    ETA on Web Platform Installer for SS3? Link to this post

    Hi Guys.

    Keep up the good work.

    Is there an ETA on when SS3 will be available via the Web Platform Installer? Am installing the CMS for a new client and am deciding whether to wait for v3 via WPI, which I haven't had any problems with, or going ahead and installing "manually", which I don't have experience with.

    Normally the MS platform work is 2-3 weeks behind a normal release, however 3.0 is a major update and requires PHP 5.3 and also mssql module updates. SilverStripe Limited produces these releases so you could email support@silverstripe.org and find out.
