Really want to but can't install Link to this post

I have several things not working when I try to install your script. It looks good from the outside but man you make Drupal and others look like the basics compared to your complicated installation.

1.) Never wants to accept my DB info.

2.) "Check that certain classes haven't been defined by PHP plugins Your version of PHP has defined some classes that conflict with SilverStripe's. The following classes are at fault: HTTPResponse"

No I did not change anything.
No I don't have any custom pages. (fresh install)

I use a fery common setup: Apache, PHP5, are experienced.

You are not running mysql over a different non standard port are you? Perhaps try bypassing the installer and just editing the mysite/_config.php file with your data and then running site.com/dev/build

I have worked with Textpattern, Joomla and Drupal. All installed locally on my Synology NAS for testing purposes.

I too am unable to get Silverstripe to install - I have:

    a. setup a new blank database in PHPMyAdmin for Silverstripe and
    b. extracted all files into a web directory.

Pointing any browser to the site root gets the same response

'Sorry, the page you are looking for is not found.'

    Not very encouraging.

    Mike
