Error while instlling Silverstripe

I got this Error message while I was installing Silverstripe:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /...../...../...../...../install.php on line 518
does someone of you know, how I can resolve the problem?
does it has to do with syntaxe Perl control?
