So unfortunately my adventure with Silverstripe is coming to and end really abruptly. I developed a site yesterday on my localhost and tried to get it to work on my webserver. Well, as you might guess it's not working. I can't make any adjustments to the webserver configuration so working with Silverstripe will have to wait untill I can get my hands on my own webserver. (Or you guys could maybe make the cms a little more forgiving on the server side?? :) )

Well you haven't explained exactly what the problem is, so it would be hard to change anything?
Why is it not compatible?
mod_rewrite is not configured on the server and I can not adjust this. Silverstripe won't install and this is a pitty because I think it kicks ass! :) I wrote an email to my hosting provider to ask him if it's possible to adjust this.
mod_rewrite is not required in SilverStripe 2.3.1.
