Server is W2K8 R2 SP1; IIS 7.5; Web Platform Installer 5.0 installed.

Installed Silverstripe with WPI 5 (which installs required software as well)
In browser, opening site results in an Internal Server Error 500.19 - The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

Trying to manage site in IIS Manager also fails due to a problem with web.config file.

Comparing the manual installation instructions, I noticed that the URL Rewrite Module is not installed via the WPI.
Installed this.
Opening site in browser now results in an Internal Server Error 500 - File monitoring is enabled for a file which could not be found

Physical Path: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\silverstripe\framework\main.php

Site is manageable in IIS Manager, though.

Followed a thread regarding the php.ini file and path to this file.
Changing this did not resolve the error.

It's clear the install through the WPI is not working properly.
I also noticed that much of the required software that is installed is older versions.

I wondered if anyone else has successfully installed/fixed the WPI install; what changes need to be made to make Silverstripe functional after the WPI installation.
