The PostgreSQL module is a complete replacement for MySQL on the SilverStripe platform. It takes advantage of many of PostgreSQL's built-in features, and offers the following new additions to SilverStripe:
If your site is going to store large amounts of data or require additional optimisations, then the PostgreSQL module is a good solution.
