Simply put, the SilverStripe community is awesome. Every time I have posted a question on the forum it’s been answered within 24 hours. The community is very active and intelligent. Which should ease your mind a little about the relative obscurity and newness of this CMS...

Good write up. Saw some familiar names in the comment section as well.
I've said and thought this for a while, but I really think it's only just a matter of time before SS really takes over and becomes just as popular as all the most popular CMSs out there. Everybody I have shown it to loves it and uses it on projects.
It's really just about getting the word out there, and slowly but surely this is happening with posts like this.
