SilverStripe CMS a finalist in the 2010 Packtpub Open Source Awards

Posted by Joanna McLeod on 24 September 2010

For the fourth year in a row, SilverStripe has been recognised by the Packtpub Open Source Awards, and is one of the five finalists in the category of Open Source CMS

What's  particularly exciting about these awards is that they are a mix between a public vote and a judging panel.

  • The top three will be voted for by a panel of judges. A final vote will come from the results of a public vote on www.PacktPub.com
  • Category award winners will be decided on a points basis. The project that the judges and public have voted as the number one will be awarded three points. The second placed project will receive two points and the third placed project will receive one point. The project with the highest number of points overall will be declared the winner.

We're really happy that the community has carried SilverStripe CMS into the finals, and we're hoping that you will vote for us to win as well.

Voting is open until November 5, with the winners announced the winners announced the week commencing November 15.
