The site tree import module lets you take a tabbed out file of the following format, and load it into your CMS as a site tree.
It can be very time consuming to manually add dozens of pages into the CMS when you are beginning a new project. This simple module lets you upload a simple text file containing a tab-indented list of pages to efficiently populate the CMS.
Once you have unzipped the module, just visit http://localhost/SiteTreeImporter/ while logged in as an administrator. You can upload your text file, and the CMS will then be populated with a new sitemap. If you are showing SilverStripe to a prospective customer, prepare the text file ahead of time, containing a full site map tailored to the project at hand. When you upload the file and show that you can immediately use the CMS to edit all of the newly created pages, it makes for quite an impressive demonstration!
The module has been moved to https://github.com/silverstripe-labs/silverstripe-sitetreeimporter
