Whats the most clean best practice theme to start with?

Hi All,
Im new to silverstipe and wondered what is the best clean theme to start from.
I need some blog and page layouts, is there a theme build on best practice with many page.ss files for most common problems out there?thanks in advanche

Probably the default 'blackcandy' theme. It follows all the conventions so it's a good place to start.
