Cache only works in some ss files

Hello,
I've been trying to implement the <% cached %> <% end_cached %> in my website and I'm trying to cache the header and footer. Each one have its own .SS template and cached tags only work on footer.
zendcache files are being generated for both, but only footer uses it.I've SS_Cache::set_cache_lifetime($for = 'any', $lifetime = 3600, $priority = 100); in my site _config.php.
Any thoughts about this problem that I'm having troubled with?
