Ñ character not showing in silverstripe

28 May 2009 at 1:26pm
Hello,
I'm retrieving some data from the database, and there's some mexican characters on it. Specifically, the Ñ character. The problem is that silverstripe is not showing it and instead it's showing a weird sign (this one, i'm not sure if it's gonna show up ok in the forum ""). The data in the database it's fine (I checked with phpmyadmin and the Ñ chars are there). I tried putting ContentNegotiator::set_encoding('utf-8'); on _config.php and that didn't help.
Any ideas ?. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards.
