AllChildren doesn't show protected pages

Hey,
I was using ChildrenOf(foo) for a nested menu, but hit a snag once the client asked that the subpages be protected (members only) but still appear in menus. I expected to be able to do AllChildren to get around it, but alas that still doesn't show up protected pages.
Any ideas how to get children including protected pages?
