alway getting blackcandy ErrorPage, why?

hi,
can anyone please tell me why I am always getting the blackcandy themes ErrorPage instead of my newly created own theme design?
In mysite/_config.php I set the theme: SSViewer::set_theme('my-new-theme');
Do I have to create my own errorpage.php within the code folder or do I have to modify an existing file to use my templates an css?

Have you cleared your cache? It may have cached that template so view http://yoursite.com/some-page-that-will-throw-a-404. Other thing you can try is to make a 'ErrorPage.ss' in your theme and see if it uses that (which it should)
