Jquery content sliders within the template

31 July 2009 at 12:26am
Hi, been using Silverstripe for a couple of months on various sites i have done. Im looking to design a new one and implement a Jquery Content Slider (much like this one http://blog.lavablast.com/SliderMenu/ or at worst like this http://demo.webdeveloperplus.com/featured-content-slider/ into the home page) but what ever i have tried i am unable to get anything to work.
I know its possible, due to the fact http://www.californiawomen.org/ has one, i just cant get the javascript to link in what ever i try. I can get all the CSS to pull in fine, but as soon as i get JS anywhere near it refuses to work. I am confident with HTML and I know i am most likely being extreemly stupid and not seeing the really simple missed item...
what do i do within the page.ss or other file to make it pull in the javascrpt needed.any help would be grand if possible.
thanks

How did you do it? Have been looking for a content slider for quite some time now.
