Logo linking to homepage

Hi.
I'm quite new to SS. How is possible to specify a link for the template logo to the homepage (or other specific page) without hardcoding it?
And, is it possibile, in case of a multi-language site, to have this link that lead to the original or translated version of the page accordingly?Thanks a lot,

$BaseHref gives you the url of your installation.
If the image belongs to your theme: $ThemeDir/images/image.jpg
