Hi there,

I've been working through my first SS set-up and I've created a series of page templates so that different pages can have different backgrounds, color schemes etc.

I've done these all through seperate page templates in themes/blackcandy/templates with different css.

I know this is probably not the most efficient way to do this, but as a non programmer I understand it and it DOES work - which is great for me.

What I'd like to know is how I can create new templates to act as backgrounds for the Blog pages. At the moment I understand that SS looks first in themes for a specific_page.ss then if it doesn't find something specific it simply uses the standard page.ss.

I can't figure out what I need to do to create new background to hold the blog pages.

Can you please help? Also, could you be really specific in what I need to do and which templates I need to change? I'm sure once I've done this once it will be easy!
