SS3 Theme not found.. *SOLVED*

So just upgraded to SS3, if I change the name of the 'simple' theme to 'anything' then choose 'anything' in the CMS settings is doesn't find the theme... which means using my old themes does work either... it can only load the 'simple' theme...
Am i missing something?
