Templates not being read for new class Link to this post

Sorry newbe question, but its my first day with this CMS...

I created Datastore.php with a class Datastore that extends Page with new fields types.

The fields are all working fine in the dev tool, however they are not being themed (im certain a theming problem since I put dummy text changes in and they arent being displayed either)

The tutorial says to put a Datastore.ss theme in the ..'themes/simple/templates/Layout/' folder

However, it is not being read when I put there.

Where should my Datastore.ss template be put to overerite the Page.ss template

    Thanks!

    Hi Bimble,

That sounds like the correct location, did you perform a flush after adding the template? http://mysite.com?flush=1

    Loz
