Regions and positions?

Is it possible to have two or more widget choosers in the same page, like in example Drupals "Block Regions" or Joomlas "Module Positions"?

No the CMS only currently supports 1 widget area. There is a ticket to enable this sort of behavior. There is also a module called promospots in svn which is unreleased but will provide similar behavior to Drupals Block Regions module

Ok willr, thanks for info.
I sure hope this will be a reality in future releases of Silverstripe. Id like to test promospots when its released.
