CamelCased DB Linux vs non camelcased DB Win

Hi,
When I run the 2.3.0 installer on my wamp localhost (PHP Version 5.2.6, mysql5.0.51b-community) all my database tables are named lowercase.
Running the same installer on my shared host (PHP Version 5.2.6, mysql4.1.25) gives me beautiful CamelCased tables.Does anybody know, why that's happening? And how to get a windows sql-dump working on a linux box?

Known problem with quite a bit of discussion, see http://open.silverstripe.com/ticket/2476
Its hard to fix "after the fact", but we'll see what we can do for 2.4 - input welcome!
