I upgraded my site to Silverstripe 2.3.0 yesterday, and everything appears to be working so far, except for the Google sitemap. Visiting sitemap.xml returns a 404 error. Has this feature been removed? Or moved? Or is there something that I need to change in order to reenable it?

Hmm, I just tried to access it on my test 2.3.0 installation and have the same issue. Can't find anything in the changelog or bug tracker about this.
Anyone else? Bug?
There is a Google Sitemap module in the svn. I guess we need to download it for get the sitemap.xml feature again
@dospuntocero
It looks like they've separated it out into a module which they haven't officially released yet. Forgotten maybe?
Thanks. I'll download it and try it out.
Hans
EDIT: I just downloaded and installed it, and I now have my site map back.
That seems to be an oversight indeed... we'll make sure the sitemaps module finds its way into the 2.3.1 release.
I'm using 2.3.1, I've tried to install googlemaps from svn, using the command svn co http://svn.silverstripe.com/open/modules/googlesitemaps/trunk/ googlesitemaps
, got the results "Checked out revision 73908." ran a db/build and still can't find a sitemap anywhere.
If someone could point me in the right direction or enlighten me in the errors of my ways I would sure be grateful.
Thanks
